Speed is step one. The map pack is the prize.

A fast website turns Google Maps visitors into calls. We'll show you exactly what it takes to get into the top 3 and stay there.

Why Speed Matters

A slow site leaks calls you already earned

You fight to get found on Google Maps. Then someone taps "Website" and stares at a blank screen. Here's why that hurts twice.

Google measures it

Google's ranking systems use page experience signals, including Core Web Vitals: how fast your main content loads (LCP), how quickly the page responds, and whether it jumps around (CLS).

Customers won't wait

Google's own research found most mobile visitors abandon a page that takes longer than 3 seconds to load. Every second you add, more people hit "back" and call a competitor.

Fast sites get the call

When your site loads instantly, shows your reviews and has a big tap-to-call button, more of your map pack visitors turn into booked jobs. Same traffic, more revenue.

FAQ

About your score

Where does this score come from?

Straight from Google's PageSpeed Insights, which runs Lighthouse on Google's servers. It loads your page on a simulated mid-range phone over a throttled mobile connection (or a desktop for the desktop test) and scores it from 0 to 100.

Why is my mobile score lower than desktop?

Mobile tests simulate a slower phone and connection, so heavy images, scripts and page builders hurt more. Since most local searches happen on phones, mobile is the score that matters most.

Why does my score change each time I run it?

Lab tests vary a bit run to run because of network conditions, server response time and third-party scripts. A swing of a few points is normal. Look at the trend and the big metrics, not one number.

What's a good score?

90–100 is good (green), 50–89 needs improvement (orange), and 0–49 is poor (red). For your main content (LCP), Google considers 2.5 seconds or less "good." We aim for under 2 seconds.
